Financial crisis package for Bosnia and Herzegovina


The Commission approves a €39 million package to help Bosnia and Herzegovina mitigate the impact of the financial and economic crisis. The grant has been allocated under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance and will trigger loan financing from international financial institutions such as the EIB, the EBRD and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau.

Review of national aid state aid schemes introduced during the financial crisis

The review addresses the effectiveness of the schemes and analyses issues raised by Member States in this context. The review also consolidates the requirements common to all approved guarantee and recapitalisation schemes and gives an overview per Member State of the public resources involved.
