If the export declaration is valid, the customs office of export accepts the export declaration, issues a registration number (MRN).
If the export declaration is invalid (e.g. incorrectly completed), the customs office of export rejects it and informs the trader (Company H or its representative).
The registration number (MRN) is communicated to the declarant who may use the Movement Reference Number (MRN) to track the goods in export using the export database.
The goods cannot be removed from the customs office of export until customs release them.
The MRN is a unique number that is automatically allocated by the customs office that accepts the declaration. It contains 18 digits and is composed of following elements:
|1||Last two digits of the year of formal acceptance of export movement (YY)||Numeric 2||07|
|2||Identifier of the Member States from which the movement originates.||Alphabetic 2 (ISO alpha 2 country code)||IT|
|3||Unique identifier for the export movement per year and country||Alphanumeric 13||9876AB8890123|
