Emergency numbers

112

Lithuania has adopted 112 as the main national emergency number.

The Emergency Response Centre (ERC) was established in 2003 and was subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior. From 1 July 2006, it became subordinated to the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) under the Ministry of the Interior. Calls to the ERC are answered in Lithuanian, English, Polish and Russian. Total staff: 191, operators: 170.

  • The emergency medical services: 03, 103, 033
  • The fire brigade: 01, 101, 011
