Making a difference for children in Rohingya refugee camps

Noor is not just any girl, she is one of 700 000 Rohingyas who fled violence in Myanmar. Young girls are particularly vulnerable in the sprawling Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh, at risk of abuse, trafficking and early marriage. In partnership with Unicef, the EU funds adolescent clubs where they learn about these issues, in order to better protect themselves, and their peers. The sites also provide them with a safe space in what is today the world’s largest refugee camp. Noor attends this club and feels that this initiative can save lives with information and knowledge.
