Come and visit the EU Humanitarian Aid stand at the European Commission's Open Doors Day on 6 May 2017 and immerse yourself in the world of humanitarian aid and civil protection.

The stand will be a replica of the Emergency Response Coordination Centre, a state of the art hub where duty officers follow potentially emerging crises 24/7 with satellite images. You may even get a chance to talk to a real duty officer.

Step into our virtual reality classroom,  the warzone in Gaza in 2014, or the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan where Sidra, a 12 year old girl, will be your guide. Children can take part in our giant world map game, where they can find out where in the world EU Humanitarian Aid operates.
