Working Party Indicators

Luxembourg, 15-16 April 2008

The working party was created by the European Commission in 2005 to both develop and implement health indicators in Europe and to develop the EU health information system as a whole. It comprises members from all EU Member States, leaders of the other five Working Parties, project leaders of nine health indicator relevant projects, and representatives from Eurostat, OECD and WHO. Working Party Indicators should ensure that indicator development is in line with the needs of the European health information and knowledge system and that prerequisites for indicator implementation are created.
