"Living Donor Psychosocial Assessment/Follow-up Practices in the Partner Countries of the ELIPSY Project" by the ELIPSY project
19 November 2012
The EUROPEAN LIVING DONOR PSYCHOSOCIAL FOLLOW-UP (ELIPSY) is a project aiming to test indicators set to guarantee the high quality of living organ donation programs.
The project created a follow-up model for living donors' psychosocial well-being and quality of life. The impact of the recipient’s outcome on the donor and the donor’s perception of the process are evaluated in this follow-up model.
The project is coming to an end and its main results have been published in the Scientific Journal Transplantation Proceedings. The ELIPSY results were also presented at the recent 5th ANNUAL EUROPEAN PUBLIC HEALTH (EPH) Conference 2012.
