"What does the future hold for mobile networks?"

T 010, 27/09/2010 (14:00-15:30)

With theoretical performance limits approaching for some mobile systems, what is next for mobile networks?

Nearly everyone on the planet has a mobile phone and in just three years’ time we can anticipate more mobile subscriptions than there are people on earth! So, what does this mean for future developments in mobile communications, given that the theoretical limits of performance in some parts of the mobile systems are fast being approached? This session, presented by the eMobility technology platform, will offer an insight into the current state of global mobile communications, including the rapidly developing use of mobile networks in applications sectors such as transport, health and energy. Major trends in research will be presented, along with discussions on the business and market impacts of these developments.

I would be interested to know how mobile media interaction is shaping the trends

Daniele MIORANDI, 17/08/2010 15:35

Very interesting, in particular the discussion on business/market aspects related to the development of the next generation of mobile communications systems. I plan to attend.

This is really an open question - planing the mobile future. We are a modelling and optimization team from Armenia. The days at ICT 2010 are very much overloaded and our goal is to find out a real research partnership. Do you plan a proposal preparation with data analysis and prediction? Can an Armenian team became a partner?

Antonio CICCHELLA, 22/09/2010 11:57

We search an industrial partner (optoelectronic) for a project of a mobile motion analysis system .

The role must be of developing the prototype

Please send the information to:
