ICT 2010

New Zealand, Australia and Europe

1122, 28/09/2010 (14:00-15:30)

New Zealand and Australia have strong science and engineering ties to Europe, and there are opportunities for even greater engagement in ICT research.

There have been many successful ICT projects under FP7 between New Zealand, Australia and Europe. This New Zealand-Australia-Europe session will identify ICT capabilities and facilitate discussion to increase further co-operation in this field. It will provide an overview of New Zealand and Australian research relevant to the topics within the FP7 ICT theme, and enable the exchange of information on existing activities. Joint future activities to move the collaborative relationship forward will also be identified. This networking session, in conjunction with New Zealand and Australian exhibits, will bring together researchers in the ICT area to stimulate future collaboration within ICT.
