EU4ALL: European Unified Approach for Accessible Lifelong Learning

This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R6 - Content and Knowledge. Stand number: R6-01

EU4ALL – the European unified approach for accessible lifelong learning project – aids social inclusion in a knowledge-based society.

The mission of the EU4ALL project is to provide educational and training institutions with innovative technology for providing e-services that are accessible to all their students and professionals, including the elderly and those with disabilities. Improving access to lifelong learning is the motivation behind the development of a framework of educational services. This framework helps in the deployment of personalised learning, which can be used to increase the accessibility of e-learning and the availability of support services for people with disabilities. The exhibit will demonstrate a real-life example of how the EU4ALL products are used within a modified form of Moodle, the popular virtual learning environment used by the Open University (UK).
