FP7 ONE-P Project: Developing the next generation of Organic Materials for Electronics and Photonics

This is a stand in the Belgian National Pavilion, located in Zone B: Belgium National Pavillion. Stand number: B06 - 3 days

While achievements in the field of organic electronics are ongoing, new functional organic materials are needed to enable the next generation of applications.

Some applications, such as light-emitting diodes, photovoltaics and flexible electronic paper, are now at an advanced stage of commercialisation. Nevertheless, new functional organic materials are still needed to enable the next generation of applications. These materials must enable new or enhanced properties in electron transport, conversion of photons into electrons and vice versa. The aim of the organic nanomaterials for electronics and photonics (ONE-P) project is to develop such materials along with the necessary process technology to strengthen Europe’s electronic and photonic sector. This will be achieved through co-operation between academic and industrial research and the integration of complementary competences.
