Web entrepreneurs create new jobs for young people; their businesses help transform the economy & society.

Web entrepreneurs worldwide have an enormous impact on society.  Using innovative technologies and platforms they build products, create services and develop a multitude of solutions which improve and enrich our professional and private lives on a daily basis. Celebrating web entrepreneurs

Europe’s web entrepreneurs are at the cutting edge of the EU’s digital economy and economic recovery. And we need to celebrate them and ensure that their ideas can start in Europe, and stay in Europe.

  3. Tech All Stars: best startups from accelerators and web camp competitions across Europe
  4. Informing Member States about training and education needs of Web Entrepreneurs (DK Presidency High Level Conference. Session on turning online start-ups into global players)
  5. Dialogue amongst Web Developers, Social Networks, EC services and Data Protection Authorities about data protection and access to big data for apps development. We facilitated the interaction between the EU social networks founders and DG JUST
  6. Digital Agenda Assembly 2013 Workshop on Web Entrepreneurship in Europe in collaboration with IE Presidency
  7. Workshops and communities on Web Entrepreneurship and Social Media at Digital Assembly 2012

  1. Campus Party Europe: The biggest technology festival in the world for the youngsters who might become Web Entrepreneurs
  2. Startup Europe Partnership: The Startup Europe Partnership (SEP) aims at creating a european startup identity and network for startups, providing communities all around Europe with resources, services and information to help them grow
  3. Startup Europe Center of Excellence: The aim is to establish a new Entrepreneurship Indicator in an effort to provide startups with thought leadership and research insights
