In this interview, Håvard Hegre presents his views on the future of global peace and conflict. He presents his ideas for the main causes and drivers for conflict in 2050, and how changes such as a reduction in global poverty, demographic shifts, technological developments and developments in ICT and social media can impact peace and conflict in the future. He also presents a brief overview of the findings of his conflict prediction project, and how developments in ICT might assist such research.
