The publishing market is growing and not shrinking. What used to constitute a straightforward, reliable sector framework is now sprouting in all directions. It is like the children’s game: you turn your back for just a moment and the other players have moved a step forward and are looking at you expectantly. Only – every time you turn your back here, new players have joined the game. The "Roadmap to Publishing Trends" with an outlook on what awaits us in the near future, was delivered by the Frankfurt Book Fair's director Juergen Boos in October 2012.
