Judith SIMON registered to attend the Onlife Manifesto: Being human in a hyperconnected era Event
Judith Simon is senior researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis) and the University of Vienna (Department of Philosophy). She is also associate post-doctoral fellow at the Institut Jean Nicod, Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. In the last years she has been visiting scholar at Stanford University and guest researcher at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science at University of Trento as well as the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (CSIC-IIIA) in Barcelona. In the FET-Open Project "Liquidpublications" she conducted research on changes in academia due to web2.0-technologies. Currently, she is investigating the relationship between trust, knowledge and ICT as the principle investigator of the research project "Epistemic Trust in Socio-Technical Epistemic System" funded by the Austrian Science Foundation. She is also member of the Onlife-Initiative (DG INFSO), exploring the extent to which the digital transition impacts societal expectations towards policy making.
