Boris ASSANOVICH registered to attend the ICT 2013 Event
Boris A. Assanovich was born in Belorussia (former USSR), received his M.S. degree in Radiophysics and Electronics in 1984 from YK Grodno State University and Ph.D. degree in Informatics and Engineering from FS Gomel State University in 2002 in Belarus. He was a fellow at St. Petersburg Institute of Telecommunication and a researcher at System Development Lab in Moscow, Russia. He taught at Physics and Technical Department of YK Grodno State University, where he held a position of Associate Professor in 2004. He was a visiting researcher at Jagiellonian University in Poland and a visiting professor at Chonbuk National University in South Korea and at Montpellier 2 University (LIRMM) in France. He has published about 80 papers in the area of signal processing source and error correcting coding. His current research interests include joint source-channel coding, new generation watermarking systems, computer vision, multimedia and intelligent systems.
