Data Value Research and Innovation in Horizon2020: Getting Europe to the forefront

This networking session addresses the value that the right use of data could bring to the European society and economy. The session will focus on how to push Europe forward; on data research challenges and opportunities as well as instruments in Horizon 2020 that could foster the adoption of Big Data technologies in Europe.

We invite stakeholders from the entire Data Value ecosystem; researchers, industry representatives, users as well as public officials to participate in the discussion, moderated by the Chairman of the NESSI ETP, Stephan Fischer, Global Head of Applied Research SAP AG.

NESSI has contributed actively to European discussions on Data Value by providing a White Paper on Big Data and through the NESSI Data Value Task Force gathering highly skilled software and services expertise. This networking session is organised in conjunction with BIG, the Big Data Public Private Forum.
