This high Level plenary debate on "Research and Innovation in the Digital Agenda for Europe" will discuss Europe's ICT research and innovation policy for the next decade, including Europe's ambitions for shaping and making the best out of ICT developments in the economy and society. EU perspectives will be provided by Vice President Neelie Kroes, European Commissioner responsible for the Digital Agenda for Europe. CEOs from the ICT industry and policy makers will provide their perspectives on ICT developments and the role of research and innovation.
