INRIA is demonstrating new technology that aims to help internet service providers exploit new resource- and bandwidth-hungry services for end-users.
INRIA (Institut national de recherche en informatique et automatique) is showcasing its LYaTiss spin-off, which offers software designed to enable the composition and on-demand allocation of high-quality composite virtual environments called Virtual Private eXecution infrastructures. This ViPXi toolbox provides resource owners with network resource virtualisation capabilities. The solution helps them to make money by connecting and temporarily enrolling resources to increase their usage and, in return, to benefit from the network effect of this resource-sharing approach. It also supports ‘cloud customers’ in the composition, provisioning and management of virtual private networked infrastructures at the right time and of the right size.
