MICIE: Model Tools for Managing Interaction Between Critical Infrastructures and Related Dependability and Vulnerabilities.
This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R7 - Safety and Security. Stand number: R7-03
MICIE is a ‘tool for systemic risk analysis and secure mediation of data exchanged across linked CI information infrastructures’.
MICIE is an EU research project that is addressing the development of risk management tools for interdependent critical infrastructures (CIs). This exhibit will showcase the project vision and outcomes, focusing on three MICIE keystones: novel risk prediction tools; a platform for secure, real-time mediation of risk data between interdependent CIs; and the validation of this framework in reference scenarios. All the tools will provide CI operators with real-time risk assessment, based on the status of their own CI and interdependent CIs. The platform will be in line with the EU initiative to establish a CI warning information network. There will be mutually interdependent CIs, such as power distribution networks and telecommunications networks, featured in the scenarios.
