Green-IT: Green-IT Strategy, Governance and Maturity Model
This is a stand in the Belgian National Pavilion, located in Zone B: Belgium National Pavillion. Stand number: B07 - day 2
The Green-IT Strategy, Governance and Maturity model aims to measure and control the contribution made by IT towards reducing waste, energy consumption and its C02 footprint.
Most Green-IT initiatives are taken at the operational level only, and often have no clear objectives. This holistic model, however, works by initially assessing the maturity level of the organisation regarding green IT, looking at green IT from a pure strategy and governance perspective and at maximising safety considerations and return for stakeholders. It offers a step-by-step approach and ensures that costs incurred for green initiatives remain under control. The model is in line with standards and best practices as recommended by Green Grid and the European Commission, and offers a unique marketing opportunity around the ‘Green-IT Strategy and Governance certified by ADJUGO’ logo.
