ACTIBIO: UNOBTRUSIVE AUTHENTICATION USING ACTIVITY RELATED AND SOFT BIOMETRICS
This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R7 - Safety and Security. Stand number: R7-02
The FP7 project ACTIBIO aims to promote biometrics to potential users, establish co-operation with scientific communities and eliminate prejudice in this particular field of research.
The FP7 project ACTIBIO is combining novel biometrics with emerging biometrics to develop unobtrusive security systems and to expand biometrics in novel applications such as in-vehicle security and on-the-go authentication. This stand will promote the project’s results to potential users, establish close co-operation with scientific and professional communities, and help combat prejudice against biometrics. ACTIBIO will also focus on the idea of analysing human responses for security-related identification purposes as opposed to the conventional exploitation of static biometric features. Finally, the exhibition will offer significant support to interested parties for ICT in biometrics-based security solutions.
