Creating the Future Internet Assembly’s research roadmap for the Future Internet

T 009, 28/09/2010 (14:00-15:30)

The Future Internet Assembly (FIA) is the gathering for the EU’s future internet research community. FIA meets six-monthly to bring the research community together to address the fundamental and applied research that is needed to realise our vision of the future internet. In the period leading up to the next framework programme FIA will be developing its research roadmap for the future internet.

We are at the very beginning of this undertaking, which will be coordinated by a grouping of the support action projects (FISA, the Future Internet Support Actions) that cover the entire space of the Future Internet research programme (Challenge 1). This networking session will be a chance to meet the members of the FISA group that’s coordinating the development of the research roadmap, to provide input to the process of creating it, and to understand how to contribute to the research roadmap as it develops.
