CSIC: BETTER and TREMOR BCI-driven Robots

This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R5 - Digital Society. Stand number: R5-12

The bioengineering group at CSIC is coordinating two projects in the 7.2 cluster – TREMOR and BETTER – with the aim of advancing brain-computer interface (BCI) research.

Gbio-CSIC will demonstrate brain computer interface (BCI) concepts and applications for controlling exoskeletons for upper and lower limbs. These will address tremor reductions and impaired walking conditions respectively. Visitors will be able to interact with the BCI by asking questions and suggesting certain actions. Personnel will be present to answer questions and help explain the demonstration. Visitors can also view slideshows and videos, access project websites, view posters and take flyers, newsletters and other materials. The stand will also present additional information to supplement and integrate information on offer within the BNCI (Brain/Neuronal Computer Interaction) village.
