SOPRANO, the ‘service-oriented programmable smart environments for older Europeans’ project, is focusing on helping the aged to live independently for longer.
This exhibit will present selected results of SOPRANO, an FP6 Integrated Project. It will demonstrate the services for independent living, with a focus on older people, such as fall detection and alert, advice on nutrition, exercise via an avatar, reminders about medication and other significant health events, like monitoring vital signs using an innovative and prototype radar. Moreover, a multimedia demonstrator will present the full service package developed in the project, and a live demonstration of the fully functional test site will be available on video, along with information posters and leaflets on the project.
