This is a stand in the Belgian National Pavilion, located in Zone B: Belgium National Pavillion. Stand number: B13 - 3 days
The CREW or Cognitive Radio Experimentation World project is studying wireless communication that avoids interference with other users.
The CREW Integrated Project will start on 1 October 2010. Its main aim is to establish an open federated test platform which will facilitate research into advanced spectrum sensing, cognitive radio and networking strategies. The CREW platform will use four wireless test beds and two cognitive sensing platforms in different European locations. This exhibit will demonstrate the feasibility of spectrum sensing using reconfigurable analog and digital building blocks. These have been designed to meet the power, cost and area constraints of future cognitive devices that can access and sense a broad range of frequency bands. The stand will also show, experimentally, the validation of cognitive networking techniques in a large-scale wireless environment.
