This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R4 - ICT connects. Stand number: R4-08
WISEBED, or ‘wireless sensor network test beds’, provides interconnected test beds for research projects.
Visitors to the WISEBED stand will be able to run selected examples of sensor network experiments. These will be executed live on either the locally installed small-scale sensor network or the experimental Europe-wide WISEBED one. The latter will be accessed either directly through an internet connection or by combining both networks. Examples of such live experiments will include real wildlife observation, climate control and object tracking. The convenient ‘testbed management architecture for wireless sensor networks’ (TARWIS) developed within the project will be available, providing a very flexible and user-friendly access to all the WISEBED features. In addition, there will be a background video on display to demonstrate the experimental facility.
