VisMaster CA: Visual Analytics to Master the Information Age

VisMaster or ‘visual analytics to master the information age’ project is analytical reasoning using interactive visual interfaces.

The challenge of the information age is to effectively utilise the immense wealth of data and information acquired, computed and stored by modern information systems. Visual analytics is a research discipline aiming to make the best possible use of huge information loads, in a wide variety of applications, by combining the strengths of intelligent automatic data analysis with the visual perception and analysis capabilities of the user. This exhibit presents the VisMaster project which combines several interactive demonstrators and videos to show the impact of new visual analytics technologies on today's businesses but also on the daily life of citizens. In addition, it will also present and distribute the new European visual analytics research roadmap.
