The QUADRIGA project supports the future of organic and large-area electronics in Europe to strengthen the EU’s position.
Organic and large-area electronics (OLAE) applies to the branch of electronics that deals with conductive polymers, plastics or small molecules. It has a huge potential to answer many questions in our society on the future of energy, environment, information and communication, mobility, healthcare and other areas. OLAE covers five important topics: OLED (organic light-emitting diodes) lighting, organic photovoltaics, OLED displays, organic electronics and integrated smart systems. In FP7, there are 18 OLAE research projects and four coordination projects. This exhibit will present a number of OLAE FP7 projects which will provide demonstrators and prototypes showcasing their most important R&D achievements.
Coordinator: Ed VAN DEN KIEBOOM (Plastic Electronics Foundation, OLAE/OPERA, Netherlands)
