EXOSTATION: HAPTIC CONTROL STATION

This is a stand in the Belgian National Pavilion, located in Zone B: Belgium National Pavillion. Stand number: B12 - 3 days

This stand will feature a live demonstration of a virtual slave robot arm with seven degrees of freedom interacting in a virtual world.

The robot will be controlled by means of a master exoskeleton arm worn by a user who can feel the force feedback of his interactions. EXOSTATION has been developed by a consortium formed by three Belgian partners – Space Applications Services NV (SpaceApps), the prime contractor, Université Libre de Bruxelles(ULB) and Micromega Dynamics – in the framework of the European Space Agency (ESA) general support technology programme.
