PICOS: Privacy and Identity Management for Community Services
This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R7 - Safety and Security. Stand number: R7-09
The focus of the ’privacy and identity management for community services’ (PICOS) project is on mobile communities.
As online communities get increasingly mobile, enabling new location-based community services, privacy and trust for their users gets more important. Within the PICOS project, researchers are investigating and developing innovative concepts to improve the privacy of users within mobile communities based on three exemplary communities. This exhibit will give an impression of these concepts and the benefits they offer. Visitors can explore an interactive demonstration to experience PICOS for themselves. They will learn how the unique features of PICOS help community users to enhance their privacy and trust in mobile communities. The project representatives will answer any questions and provide visitors with further information about PICOS.
