Apollon: LIVING LABS Showcases

This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R6 - Content and Knowledge. Stand number: R6-04

Apollon, the Advanced Pilots of Living Labs Operating in Networks project, is focusing on setting up cross-border living lab experiments.

Living labs are user-driven open experimental environments, within a public-private-people partnership, which enable users to take an active part in the research, development and innovation process. This exhibit will present the Apollon project and the ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs) network as unique European organisations for living-lab activities. It will also illustrate living lab pilots in four areas: eHealth, eEnergy, eManufacturing and eParticipation and Media. Visitors will be able to interact with live demos of these pilots as users. These mainly mobile technology-related applications are the best interactive and most attractive demos available. They are based on cases still in progress and the very latest development stage will be revealed.
