This is a technology or research stand, located in Zone R6 - Content and Knowledge. Stand number: R5-21
The project ‘Together anywhere, together anytime’ (TA2) is investigating how technology can help to nurture family-to-family relationships.
TA2 is about the future of interaction between families and friends. The project involves two living rooms equipped with typical domestic equipment. These will demonstrate how people will be able to communicate easily and naturally (using both voice and video) with others in a remote location while they all share the enjoyment of a common activity, a simple game. Visitors will be able to participate in a video conference using a TV screen with a game being displayed and played on a touch screen in front of them. The focus is on enabling human interaction. The technology while excellent should remain invisible, leaving people to relate to one another and not to technology.
