This is a stand in the International village, located in Zone D: International Village. Stand number: D15
Australia's exhibition will be hosted by NICTA, the country’s national ICT centre of excellence, and will feature research carried out by the nation’s leading universities.
This stand will showcase Australia’s world-leading expertise in future internet and embedded systems. It will highlight national research capabilities in ICT research and current involvement in EC projects. Demonstrations will include NICTA's future internet test beds, which are used globally across Planetlab Europe and GENI in the US, and energy-efficient service delivery technology. Australian embedded systems expertise, including bionic eye prototype (camera glasses) and sports performance improvement through body area networks, will also be on display. The Fraunhofer project group in transport and logistics at NICTA will give a demonstration on future logistics, too.
