Davor Orlic co-created VideoLectures.Net, a free and open video website, showcasing lectures, conferences, workshops and courses, established to share knowledge with a global academic audience. Determined editorial guidelines for content selection with considerations for VideoLecture’s key initiatives, and acquired content from as many academic partners as possible. Developed a high level of scientific, computational, technical, engineering, business, management, economics and leadership literacy to effectively program VideoLectures.Net as a leading source of thought leadership, used by industry, education and self-learners. Created editorial framework, grammar and direction for presenting long form, uncut, unmediated academic video on the web. Designed all editorial, operational, technical and global distribution features. Published more than 9000 lectures, at a rate of 1500 per year in collaboration with more than 200 conference organizers, labs, centers, uni dept. and schools. Created weekly e-newsletter (cir. 22,000) and developed social media communication (cir. 6,000 followers). Delivered numerous deliverables, reports, statistics and consultancy for European R&D projects.
