Dr. Alessandra Bagnato is a research scientist and project manager within the Softeam R&D Department in Guyancourt, Paris (.She holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from TELECOM SudParis and Université Evry Val d'Essonne, France.She holds a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Genoa, Italy.She has been at TXT Corporate Research Division headquartered in Milan from 1999 till September 2012. She was involved as Project Coordinator, Project Manager and/or Technical Leader in in several European research projects in the 5th, 6th and 7th Framework Programme related to embedded systems design, software/service development and security.Among them she was coordinator of project MOMOCS: Model driven Modernisation of Complex Systems ( and project MADES, Model-based methods and tools for Avionics and surveillance embeddeD SystEmS ( is member of multiple international committees and she is the Softeam representative in the OMG SysML 1.4 Revision Task Force.Currently she is involved in the FP7 projects:

  • OSSMETER (Automated Measurement and Analysis of Open Source Software) funded by European Commission for the improvement of the state-of-the-art in the field of automated analysis and measurement of open-source software,
  • FITTEST (Future Internet Testing) and
  • MONDO (Scalable Modelling and Model Management on the Cloud).

The EC FP7 projects OSSMETER/MARKOS/PROSE projects are proud to host the "Open Source Software: Peeking Backstage"  exhibition booth at the ICT 2013 event in the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO in Vilnius, 6-8 November 2013.

ICT 2013 is the premier EU event on ICT research & innovation with more than 4000 attendees expected, it is considered the kick-off event for the next big EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, named Horizon 2020.
