The objective for this call for tenders is to develop a decision tree with guided questions and answers on a set of requirements i.e. service level objectives (SLOs) for small and medium sized enterprises contemplating the adoption of cloud computing (SME Cloud Users). Guided questions and answers should cover SLOs against SME Cloud Users' business needs and also against the ten most frequent and relevant use cases for cloud adoption (Top Ten Use Cases)1 (together referred to as a Decision Tree2). The Decision Tree should be designed in a way that it includes all the main issues which will be important for SME Cloud Users to assess what they need to consider before migrating to the Cloud. Smart@fire is a groundbreaking project to encourage companies and researchers and provide them with financial means to develop Innovative ICT Solutions that better protect firefighters and help prevent accidents,and to integrate them into Smart Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). For this, Smart@fire employs a unique and novel method of innovative procurement known as pre-commercial procurement (PCP). The consortium of fire brigade procurers is now looking for new smart ICT based communication/localisation solutions to enable safer fire fighting. A call for tenders has been opened.
