Net-Tech Future Coordination Meeting

The well known FP7 'Future Networks Concertation Meeting' has a new 'look and feel' in Horizon 2020 and is being renamed 'Net-Tech Future Coordination Meeting'. These regular meetings will bring together EU research-funded projects in the area of communications networks to exchange the latest research findings and ideas for future activities. Save the date for the upcoming meeting on 23 October 2014.

The Net-Tech Future Coordination Meeting is based on plenary & working groups, which focus on:

  1. Future Internet (FI)
  2. Converged and Optical Networks (CaON)
  3. Radio Access and Spectrum (RAS), and
  4. The Internet of Things European Research Cluster (IERC).

Next meeting, October 2014

The first Net-Tech Future Coordination Meeting in Horizon2020 will be organised on 23 October. Network techonologies and IoT projects will meet to share research results under the form of thematic cluster meetings. The cluster meetings will take place in the morning and the plenary meeting will take place in the afternoon. This day is followed by a 5G oriented workshop to explore potential for EU-Taiwan research cooperation. The agenda and the registration will be available early September.
