This publication is made pursuant to Article 124.1 (b) of the Rules of Application of the Financial Regulation that provides for an ex-ante publication on the Institutions' websites of contracts with a value up to 60.000 EUR. Only the candidates invited by the contracting authority to participate in the procedure for awarding this low value contract will be admissible.
The European Commission will soon launch a call for tenders for a service contract of a maximum value of EUR 45.000.The purpose of this call for tenders is to purchase high-quality Conference and Exhibition support services for the 11th edition of the Future Internet Assembly (FIA Athens, http://www.fi-athens.eu), 17-20 March 2014, allowing the on-going Future Internet projects to showcase their achievements and demonstrate their solutions. The service includes provision of booths, poster walls, signage and LCD flat-screen TVs for the duration of the event, as well as the installation and dismantling of the exhibition.
Interested economic operators can express their interest to participate in the call for tender until 9 December 2013 (17:00 CET) in writing to CNECT-FUTURE-INTERNET@ec.europa.eu
The pre-selection criteria applied for this call are:
• Proven experience in organizing exhibitions at similar events (with over 300 participants);
• Acknowledgement of delivery of exhibition services.
The following evidence must be provided in respect of each of the selection criteria identified above and included in the email expressing the interest of the economic operator to participate in the call for tender.
• List of recent events (past 3 years – 2010 to 2013) that the operator has organized, with detailed information on event agenda and exhibition structure and planning
• Letters of confirmation of successful delivery from previous events.
Processing your reply to the ex-ante advertisement will involve the recording and processing of personal data (such as your name, address and CV). Such data will be processed pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data.
