The city of Valencia will implement the Future Internet PPP technology to get smarter!

Thanks to FI-Ware implementation, Valencia will be the first Spanish city to centralise all of its municipal information through a smart city technological solution.

On May 22nd the Valencia City Council announce its plan to transform the city into a smart and totally connected environment. The Valencia Smart City Platform, which will bring together all city's service throught 350 connected sensors, will be build by Telefonica on FI-Ware technology. 

Thanks to the smart platform, city managers will be able to monitor everything happening in the city and act in real-time improving the quality of various sectors such us transport, energy efficiency, environmental services.

Smart City has been one of the main target of the programme Future Internet Public-Privat Partnership (FI-PPP), which aims to create sustainable innovations to improve people daily life.
