The European Commission has initiated a study, to be carried out by Plum Consulting and Farncombe to consider:

  • How audio-visual services will be delivered in Europe over the next 15 years
  • Whether Europe should move to a converged terrestrial wireless platform for the delivery of audio-visual (linear, on-demand) and internet (data) services over this period
  • The impact of future options for the delivery of audio-visual and data services on use of UHF spectrum (470-790 MHz) and possibly further sub-1 GHz spectrum.
