Dr Peter van Manen is Managing Director of McLaren Electronic Systems, the company that provides the control and data systems used by all competitors in Formula One, NASCAR and IndyCar. The company also develops and manufactures electronics and software for automotive, aerospace, railways and healthcare applications. Peter has been with McLaren for over 20 years and has been involved in every control unit they have ever deployed in Formula One since the first system was adopted back in 1993.
