The Digital Agenda Assembly 2013 (DAA 2013) will take place on 19th and 20th June in Dublin.
This year, the Assembly is co-organised with the Irish Presidency of the EU Council and will consist of seven thematic workshops and one plenary event.
It will be an opportunity to go through the themes of the Digital Agenda for Europe review, to assess the progress and the challenges in the implementation of the refocussed actions and seek ways to improve delivery in the context of the recent update.
We are aiming to have an innovative, creative and interactive Assembly to showcase examples from across the EU and collect visions and experiences of policy makers, industry, research organisations, NGOs, SMEs, regulators, Member States representatives. We also wish to maximise networking opportunities for delegates as well as for those stakeholders who can participate through online discussions.
What are we going to discuss?
The main programme concept is around the digital lifecycle with an emphasis on digital skills, entrepreneurship and growth. The workshops will focus on ICT skills and jobs, public services for the citizen, research & innovation and technology enablers, trust & security, entrepreneurship and the digital single market.
The conference will take place in Dublin Castle, Ireland, which is located in Dublin city centre.
The event will host seven thematic workshops (on 19th June) and a plenary session (on 20th June). Whilst waiting for a detailed programme, have a look at the workshops' short descriptions.
