In the OISPG we actively organize and attend events which discuss the Open Innovation 2.0 concept in detail. On this page you can find out more about the events we have organized or those which we are currently coordinating. You will find also the events the OISPG members attended in order to spread the word on Open Innovation 2.0.
The European Commission, Open Innovation Strategy and Policy Group, Intel Labs Europe, Dublin City Council, Trinity College Dublin co-organised the unique working conference, in May 2013, Dublin. The objective of this conference was to bring together thought leaders, senior decision makers, policy leaders, leading executives and social innovators and through OI2 initiate a manifesto, platform and roadmap for Sustainable economy and society development. The event was organised under the patronage of the Irish Presidency of the European Union 2013. The conference welcomed over 75 international experts who addressed more than 350 delegates from around the world, highlighting how economic growth and job creation can be generated by modern innovation and technology. The major two day international conference closed in Dublin Castle with overwhelming agreement on the drafting of “The Dublin Innovation Declaration”.
Organised around the concept of short speeches, strong interaction and further development of the ideas, so that the outcome has an impact beyond the event. Leading innovation thought leaders will present their latest insights; European policy leaders will contribute to the design of the European Innovation ecosystems; and the first feedback from the new European research and innovation framework, Horizon 2020, will be presented. The event will be held in Dublin on 12th June at Dublin Convention Centre.
OISPG members often attend conferences around Europe and abroad, most of the times giving presentations on various aspects of the topic of open innovation. In this section you can find some useful slides which give an overview of how the concept is being perceived and implemented nowadays.

In the 2015 edition of the conference thought leaders are invited again to share their Open Innovation findings in the practice. The industrial and socio-economic aspects will be strongly presented in this two-day conference.
Following the tradition the conference will be organised by the European Commission DG CONNECT's Open Innovation Group (OISPG) together with Intel Labs Europe, kindly supported by Aalto University, City of Espoo and other partners.
