Elina Uutela

Elina Uutela is a social sciences student who prefers doing over planning. She feels strongly, that the world can't be changed via stiff structures - but it has been and will be changed via entrepreneurship. As she is originally from Lapland, Northern Finland, she doesn't startle that easily. Right now Elina is running Aaltoes (Aalto Entrepreneurship Society), the most active student-run entrepreneurship society in Europe.

Aaltoes has been successfully building and regenerating startup culture, attitudes and community in Finland since 2009. The vivid community has truly shown that grassroots action can have a huge impact in a short time period, if people just shut up and work hard.
