Summer interpreting course in Croatia
If you are a conference interpreter interpreting into English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian and would like to add Croatian as a C language, the following course might be of interest to you.
The University of Zagreb (at the Centre for Advanced Academic Studies (CMS), Dubrovnik, Croatia) is organising a one-week course in Dubrovnik, focusing on:
- In-depth work on oral comprehension and better understanding of Croatian language
- Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation from Croatian
The objectives are:
- To improve the ability to follow a speech or discussion on current economic, political or general topics
- To gain better understanding of different language registers and accents
