Summer interpreting course in Croatia

If you are a conference interpreter interpreting into English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian and would like to add Croatian as a C language, the following course might be of interest to you.

The University of Zagreb (at the Centre for Advanced Academic Studies (CMS), Dubrovnik, Croatia) is organising a one-week course in Dubrovnik, focusing on:

  • In-depth work on oral comprehension and better understanding of Croatian language
  • Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation from Croatian

The objectives are:

  • To improve the ability to follow a speech or discussion on current economic, political or general topics
  • To gain better understanding of different language registers and accents

Starting date:
22nd July 2013

Course fee: €700

Accommodation at the International University Centre (IUC) dormitory:
Single room €30 per day, breakfast €4

Minimum number of participants:
15 participants
