
Alina-Stefania Ujupan obtained her PhD in Policy Studies with the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland). She graduated with a Masters of Science in Research Methods from the Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom) and obtained a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Politics from the same institution. She also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Babes-Bolyai University (Romania).
Her research interests include the EU budget review, Cohesion Policy, European institutions, negotiation theories, and the process of globalisation.
Prior to joining the Bureau of European Policy Advisers, she was adviser on economic and monetary affairs for a Member of the European Parliament.
