Jorge CÉSAR DAS NEVES

 

Jorge César das Neves started his University philosophical studies in the Catholic University in Lisbon, Portugal. He obtained the grade of Magister Artium in the Hochschule für Philosophie, in Munich, Germany and proceeded there with doctorate studies.

He was Assistant Professor at the Philosophical Faculty of the Catholic University in Lisbon, Portugal.

He is a member of the Portuguese Foreign Service and served in the Permanent Representation to the European Union and the Embassies in Ankara, New Delhi and Algiers.

He was a member of the Policy Unit of the High Representative for European Union Foreign Policy Javier Solana, where he worked in the field of crisis management in Africa.

Since October 2007 he is Adviser for Dialogue with Religions, Churches and Communities of conviction in the Bureau of European Policy Advisers of the European Commission.
