EMODNET – building a European marine data infrastructure

Public consultation

In 2009, the European Commission organised a public consultation to assess the current state of Europe's marine knowledge infrastructure and possible measures that could be taken to improve it. Anybody with an interest in marine data was invited to participate.

The consultation closed on 2 June 2009. The results of the consultation as well as information on the further development of EMOD-net are available on the thematic website on Maritime Affairs.
