The European Commission launched an Internetsurvey on certification and quality labels for Aquaculturein connection with the Seafood Trade Fair in Brussels 2007. The purpose of the survey was to explore the views of the sector on existing quality certification systems and assess their interest in possible future European action in this domain.

The survey closed on 15 June 2007.
